Refund and Returns

At TLC Scripts, we want you to be confident in the scripts you choose for your production. Because our products include licensed intellectual property and custom-printed materials, our policy is designed to protect our playwrights while supporting our producers.

1. Digital Downloads (PDF Scripts)

Due to the nature of digital media, all sales of downloadable PDF scripts, perusal copies, and digital production materials are final. Once a digital file has been sent or downloaded, we cannot offer a refund or exchange. We encourage you to utilize our Play Perusals and Musical Perusals before completing your purchase.

2. Printed Scripts and Production Packs

Our printed scripts are “print-on-demand” and custom-made for your order.

• Defects or Damage: If your printed scripts arrive damaged or with a manufacturing defect, we will replace them at no cost to you. Please contact us via our Contact Form within 14 days of receipt with a photo of the damage.

• Change of Mind: Because these materials are printed specifically for your production, we do not accept returns or refunds for “change of mind” or if a production is canceled after the scripts have been printed.

3. Performance Royalties

We understand that sometimes production plans change.

• Cancellations: If you have paid performance royalties but must cancel your production, we can issue a Full Credit toward a future production of any TLC script, provided the cancellation occurs at least 30 days prior to your scheduled opening night.

• Refunds: Cash refunds for royalties are handled on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to a small administrative processing fee.

4. Merchandise

For any physical merchandise (shirts, posters, etc.) purchased through our shop:

• Items must be returned within 30 days in their original, unused condition.

• The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged.
