Synopsis

It’s July 31, 1968 and, once again, the Hammond family reunites at the family’s ancestral home… Willowmere!

The family’s long term housekeeper, Ida Mae, has passed away and they have all returned for her funeral. Ida Mae has taken care of the Hammond family for several generations and, as a result,
commands the respect and adoration of all.

But, more than a funeral is about to be experienced. Edmund and Celia’s daughter, Eve, was conceived 15 years prior, at Willowmere, under very unusual circumstances having to do with a dramatic paranormal encounter with the ghost of the daughter of their ancestor, Phillip Zachary Hammond, who built the Plantation in 1761. As a result, Eve’s very existence is enjoined with the spirit of that little ghost and she has just reached the same age as that ghost was when she was brutally murdered back in the 1700’s, sparking the awakening of forces and events no one is prepared to face.

But, face it they must. They watch as Eve seems to be experiencing flashbacks to the past, causing her to behave as two separate people. When they finally come to terms with why this is happening, Edmund’s first instinct is to gather up his wife and child and take them as far away from Willowmere as possible but, Eve has come to understand the altered “self” that resides within her and explains that there is no point in trying to run away. Eve explains that, “What happens to her, happens to me” and they must face the situation head on in order to be able to bring things to an end.

As the father figure, carrying the bloodline of Philip Hammond in his veins, Edmund must fight for both their children to finally put the evil down.

This is the continuation of the Hammond family story begun under the previous work entitled “UNTHINKABLE” but, it easily stands on its own.
