Synopsis

Vince Russo lost his wife four years ago. Since then he just wrapped himself into his Italian restaurant franchise business. But, he just met Michelle Drakos and suddenly he’s looking to form a new relationship.

Vince’s father, Tony, and daughter, Petunia live with him. His father is old school Italian and after Vince’s wife’s death, Petunia, missing her mother, has taken on a new persona and marches to the tune of a different drummer (Steampunk).

On the other hand, Michelle’s father, Sam, and her son, Ellis, live with her. Her father is a retired College Professor and her son, Ellis, has degrees in Geology and Gemology. For some unknown reason, he has decided to talk with a proper British Accent and dress as if from the late 1800’s. Nobody knows why but… Oh well!

Michelle decides to invite Vince and his family for dinner and when Petunia and Ellis see each other, it’s love at first sight. Within twenty minutes of their meeting they announce that they are going to get married and the parents and grandparents go into hysterics.

They finally accept the inevitable and after much stress over the planning of the wedding, Petunia and Ellis decide to elope. (The fact that Petunia insists on a black wedding dress may have had something to do with it).

Michelle won’t let go of the fact that her mega-rich ex-husband was a two-timing womanizer, Vince and Michelle wind out having sex behind the sofa in a moment of passion causing Tony and Sam to reveal that they are now Gay and, in the end, Petunia and Ellis appear to be the only sane ones in the bunch.

When they all wind out in the delivery room to meet their new grandbaby, somehow none of it seems to matter anymore. They all join forces because… after all… they now have a baby to spoil!
